Easter 2008 in March
Easter was great. We went down to Auburn and spent the day with Suzie and Mr. Boy and family. The kids had a great time playing and eating. Here are some photos of the day. More pictures were taken but for some reason I could not load them.
I have always though helping others was great particularly people in third world countries. This site is a great way to do just that. Take a look and see what you think.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are born to shine. It’s not just some of us, but all of us. And as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
A Family
It is not flesh and blood that make us a family but the heart.
Watching both of you makes me so proud.
I know each of you have your own special purpose.
My elder daughter is the ball player.
My baby is the dancer.
But, both are beautiful and very special.
The ball player likes the competition.
The dancer likes the stage.
The ball player likes the cheers.
The dancer likes the applause.
The ball player likes to catch.
The dancer likes to stand on pointed toes.
They are both beautiful to watch.
They are both dear to my heart.
They are both talented in their own ways.
I am lucky, I am proud, I am blessed.
I am a mother.
In life you have many friends.
Some people who come into your life and than leave,
leaving an impression in your life and on your heart.
Then there are those that come in and stay,
continuously making an impression.
Then there are those friends who leave that
special mark upon your heart never to be forgotten.
The friends most dear are the ones that are made and kept.
Nothing can take that kind of friendship away.
These friends leave a mark upon your heart so deep and so true
that you understand why they have entered your life.
They mean the world to you.
True friends are there for you.
Through good times, through bad times,
through change, and through it all.
Life is worth living if you have friends like that.
