FIRST TOOTH

SYDNEY LOST HER FIRST TOOTH TONIGHT. WE KNEW IT WAS READY TO COME OUT. BAD PART IT CAME OUT WHILE SHE WAS EATING DINNER. IT WILL NOT BE RECOVERED. SHE KNOWS THAT THE TOOTH FAIRY WILL STILL COME.....

WHAT'S NEW WITH THE RUG RATS

A LOT HAS BEEN GOING ON IN THE PAST WEEK OR SO. WHERE TO START......
WE HAD SOME SNOW WHICH WAS REALLYNEAT SINCE GABBY HAS NEVER EXPERIENCED IT BEFORE. CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS. THE GIRLS' DANCE CLASS IS IN FULL SWING. SYD IS FINISHING UP CHEERLEADING (SHE IS NOT THAT FOND OF IT TO MUCH SITTING AROUND AND DOING NOTHING). I AM PLEASED. I DON'T MAKE A GOOD CHEER MOM. THEY BITH START KARATE THIS TUESDAY AND ARE EXCITED.

MY COACHING DUTIES START THIS WEEK. ONE ARMED AN ALL. I HAVE ALSO DECIDED TO TAKE ON A YEAR AND A HALF EDUCATIONAL TASK. RIGHT TIME, RIGHT PLACE, AND RIGHT OPPORTUNITY. I WILL BE STARTING ME EDS IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP. THE STATE LAW IS CHANGING AND AFTER NEXT YEAR UNLESS YOU ARE AN ADMIN. YOU WILL NOT GET PAID FOR YOUR T6 EDS. SO IF I DO IT NOW WE GET PAID FOR IT ANF IF AND A BIG WHEN I DECIDED TO BECOME AN ADMIN. I CAN.
AND THE KIDS ARE SMALL ENOUGHT THAT I CAN STUDY LATE AT NIGHT. WE WILL SEE HOW THIS WORKS OUT.

I ALSO JUST GOT THROUGH READING TWO BOOKS AND SUGGEST THEM TO YOU MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. THE SECRET (POSITIVE THOUGHT) AND THE WISDOM OF FORGIVENESS THE DALAI LAMA AND VICTOR CHAN. I THINK THEY ARE WONDERFUL IN THE SENSE THAT THEY PREACH HAPPINESS AND BETTER LIFE THROUGH THOUGHT/MEDITATION/FORGIVENESS. THEY SEEM TO HAVE PUT ME MORE AT PEACE WITH SOME THINGS IN MY LIFE AS WELL AS HELPED ME FEEL AND DEAL WITH MY SHOULDER SURGERY. WHICH MAY EXPLAIN MY RECOUP TIME BEING SO MUCH FASTER THAN WHEN I HAD MY OTHER SHOULDER DONE 6 YEARS AGO.

THE GIRLS AND I HAD A VERY BUSY DAY PAST DATE. SYD CHEERED, GABBY AND I SUPPORTED HER. THAN THEY WENT TO ELI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY, AND THAN JUMPZONE FOR ANSLEY'S BIRTHDAY. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS VERY TIRED.

My Family

update Jan 27,2008
made it through aND IT IS COMING ALONG WELL. OTHER THAN BEING ONE ARMED FOR SIX WEEKS. IT HAS ALREADY HAD ITS MISHAPS. I TRIPPED COMING UP THE STEPS CARRYING A BUNCH OF STUFF. BUT EVERYTHINGS SEEMS COOL.

I am a little scared about having surgery this Friday. I have had 5 others with no problems but just in case there is an issue I thought I would drop this out there in case something goes wrong. My will is somewhere in the house but we have not updated it since Gabby's adoption. So if all goes wrong (which it will not) everything I have is Ginger's. She is to adopt Gabby. All of my friends who live near me and my cousin Robyn and her family can attest to this. I love you all.

By the way not that I think anything is going to happen but I wanted to be safe just in case. You know the deal protect the family...

January 2008

Sydney having fun with her sister at the mall play area January 1, 2008

Look Momma Gabby gave me her IPOD. Pretty cool.

Here is a photo of Gabby and this boy Brandon who has a major crush on her. Gabby like his cousin......Oh well. Sydney and I at the church parents night out..

January is a busy month for us:

The girls start back to dance this week

They start Karate at the end of the month

Sydney's cheerleading starts back up on the 10th

I start coaching the Track team again we start practice on the 28th

And the least fun thing of all. Rotator cuff surgery to fix my left shoulder. I am not looking forward to this since that means I will not have use of my arm for a min. of 6 weeks it will be in a brace.

It has been a while

I have not been posting lately and it is probably due to being back at school. But here is an update for the last two months:

December:
  • The girls were so excited about Christmas they even got the tree ready and helped decorate it. (for me it was nice to have some help)
  • They got some cool stuff for Christmas and had a lot of fun
  • They enjoyed their time off from school and it has been hard getting them back into the swing.
  • New Years we have never been a go out family. So we stayed home and celebrated with just the four of us. It was fun.

January:

  • New Years Day we went to the mall and ended up running into someone we knew at Home Depot. She had never met the girls. So we got to see her two and we got to meet her two.
  • Gabby started the New Year with a new hair cut. She loves it.
  • They went to a parent's night out at the church on Friday.
  • Gabby went to a bowling birthday party.

So we are off to a great start. The girls go back to dance this week, tumbling starts for Gabby at the end of January, Sydney starts Karate at the same time. I start Track the first week of Feb. God willing. I am praying I will be recouped by than. The doctors says 6 week recovery time till I can used my arm again. He will be operating on it Jan 18th to repair the rotator cuff (That's what you get for being so athletic as a kid) I will be taking about a week off from work to recoup but my arm will be in a special sling for 6 weeks.. Oh joy..

Love you all
