Doctor Results

I missed the team photo because I had a track meet but the two most important ones made the picture.

What is wrong with this child?????????????????????????????????

Sydney and Danielle at the photo shoot

Like I said these kids are silly especially the center child..

Half the team, Gabby, Danielle, Moria, Mary, and Sydney in the back

Yes, the bat is bigger than the child. Now she got her first really big hit off the pitch on Saturday the 3rd May. She is also got momma's old jersey nunmber 15, Syd would have had it but another girl on the team had it so she is 19

Precious ballplayer..........

I'll take that kind of doctor visit anytime. He said that all he had to do was unjam the screw and clean it up the joint a bit. So I don't have to wear that stupid sling for 6 more weeks. I start physical therapy Thursday and I only have to wear the sling when I am coaching, working, and sleeping. YEA. So in other words it is off right now, sore but it works. The pain is manageable, more irritable than anything else.

I am going to get back to doing some house work and cleaning up the yard. G can't do it all not with two rug rats running around. Speaking of they should all be home shortly. We have a softball game tonight at 615pm the girls play Brookwood again.

And so your no going where are the photos I have added some of the girls playing softball. Check out one team we played "Auburn Tigers" not that you can tell from my back but I had my AU shirt on and AU shoes. The other team liked it.. Come on up and watch a game. Sydney hit a great shot on Friday night (the 2nd) she is left handed and she hit it up the third base line. Fantastic shot. Gabby on Saturday's game (3rd) she was playing center field and the ball came out and she stopped it and ran to second base. Way to go little ball players.

So long for now. Just thought I would update on the shoulder situation.

Week Off from Work

I know most people would love a week off from work. But this is killing me. I can't do much of anything. I did read a book but that is difficult on pain medication. All I do is sleep. sleep, and sleep somemore. Not quite sure how peop-le who don't work (and don't have kids) do it. There are only so many house chores you can do, emails you can write, and other stuff. I knew someone who quit their job and did not get another one for two years or so. What do you do with all that time...............Well I do get to go to the doctor today and have my stitches out (yea shower time)

On the up and coming kiddy front:
Softball tonight, Friday, and Saturday
Dance on Wed after the girls attend The LMS track banquet
April 30 Register Gabby for Kinder. at Youth Elementary School.
Dance recital May 16th
May 13th Uncle Eric Graduates with his Masters degree from Kennesaw State
May 21 Gabby's Pre-K graduation at the park at 12pm (if your in the area come and watch a little girl graduate Pre-K)
May 5th I start my summer classes at Argosy U.
May 21 G, Sydney, and Gabby's last day of school
May 23 my last day of school.. YEA summers here

As you can see from the photo the garden is starting to come alive. Sydney had me take her picture by it for a school project. She made her first power point for school on her favorite place in Georgia.

Saturday

What a nice Saturday, lots of birds in the yard, the girls said something in the garden is growing, they are playing in the pool and stuff, Tough day yesterday for them. Surgery went really well. Doc said the screw was jammed and the cuff was still intact. So I am feeling pretty good today. The pain is mild compared to last time, I am having an anesthesia reaction this time. It may have to do with not going under right away and they had to give me more. I started scratching when I came out of the recovery room. I was told to drink lots of water. If it continues I'll hollar at the doc Monday. Over all it looks like I will have my arm back soon. Well the girls have a game today. I am banned from going since I don't do well sitting on the sidelines.

Strawberry Fields Forever

The Girls got their first taste of picking their own strawberries today. I took them to Washington Farms in Grayson after school and they picked a gallon of huge red strawberries. Not to mention the two dozen they ate while picking the bucket. Gabby would say momma I crushed this one and I would say go ahead and eat it. After about 5 I caught on she was doing it on purpose so she could eat it. They both came home with strawberry mess on their shirts but had fun. No photos today as I actually did not have my camera with me. What is this world coming to me with no camera....

Catch you guys after I awake from having my shoulder hacked on again. If your a praying person it would not hurt to drop a hint to the big guy I'd that I would like to come through with flying colors...

Track Team

The LMS Track Team ended their season this past Saturday. They took 1st place at the Piedmont Athletic Conference Championships. What a great season undefeated and several school records.
I would like to say that the coach (me) did such a great and wonderful job, but NOT. The girls did a great job and I had a lot of great kids who have a lot of great athletic ability.

Garden Time again

The Reid Girls got started on their garden today. They planted everything except their tomatoes.

They are trying some new items this year as well as some old favorites: Peas, Zuch, Yellow Squash, Cucumbers, corn, and watermelon. We will see what happens. So if you live close by stop in in about 8 weeks and get some great fresh veggies.

Today we added Lettuce, Tomatoes, and cantalope. We will see how all that works out. Though I did promise Cheryl (my surgical nurse) if she and Doc did a good job fixing my shoulder again I would bring her some fresh veggies. It is bad when your on a first name basis with your surgical team.... Anyway the shoulder gets redone Friday morning. I get to come home Friday night or late afternoon when ever I wake up and become lucid.

Spring Break Trip to Orlando

We spent Spring Break in Orlando at Westgate Villias. It was great no Disney this trip, but Universal studios and Island of Adventure were great. (future reference for you guys, Universal is a much better deal, get online tickets for both parks and you can use them for seven days, we went three times). Check out the photos attached and check out the photos on AOL. Link. Gabby and Sydney had a blast. We met up with our college friend Deb who lives in Orlando. It was great seeing her again and she got to meet our latest addition Ms. Gabby whom she has heard about but not met. While there we celebrated our two year anniversary. I took physical custody of Gabby on the 6th and she and I got to Atlanta on the 11th of April.

Dance Recital

The girls are getting ready for their end of season dance recital. If your in the area and want to come see please do so. The information is below. Lets see what else is new. G was home sick today. But is feeling better and will be back at work tomorrow. The girls have Karate tomorrow and will test on the 22nd for their Yellow belts (should be back to see them)

Oh yea, fun and joy. I finally went back to the doctor and had a new MRI done and yes June is now a doctor she diagnosed her own issues. Yes, I did pop the antero screw in my shoulder when I fell and now have to have the surgery again. That will teach you to trip when you have just had surgery. Which will be taking place April 25, 2008 (what fun 6 more weeks of my arm in a sling). As you can see I am excited about this new and wonderful surgery. Now if your looking for some amusement in this they put a shot into my shoulder yesterday before the MRI and I passed out from the pain.(not the funny part). May not have been if I had not started to lay down on my own. There is no way that little bit of a nurse would have been able to do anything but let me drop. I probably scared her. But I woke up my usual smart a@# self. So they knew I was alright. Doc came back and said hurt a bit didn't it. I said "ya think" been watching to much Hannah Montana with the girls. He is an awesome doc. did my knee replacement a few years back.
Oh yea. On the good news side I have two more assignments and I finished my first EDS course. Not bad. 9 more to go and I will be certified. (what you ask don't really know, actually I will be a T6 certification so can become an administrator someday when I grow up). Ta ta for now. Yours truly....................................................

You have cordially been invited to
Gabriella and Sydney's
Dance Recital

Courtney's Birthday at Sparkles

Courtney turned 8 on the 31st of March and we went to her party on the 30th at Sparkles. We got to see some of the kids that played ball with Sydney last year that moved up to PEE wee. We did go see the Pee Wee team play on Monday night. Gabby actually used big girls skates and did pretty well. Sydney is an old pro at skating and loves going around in circles. They had a great time. Courtney got cake in her face.... she was so happy about that.... Kids

Easter 2008 in March

Easter was great. We went down to Auburn and spent the day with Suzie and Mr. Boy and family. The kids had a great time playing and eating. Here are some photos of the day. More pictures were taken but for some reason I could not load them.
